Job summary

Flint Hills Resources, a Koch company, is hiring for Summer 2028 Chemical Engineering Interns at the Pine Bend Refinery in Rosemount, Minnesota. This 12-week, in-person program offers real-world process engineering exposure, plant optimization, and hands-on troubleshooting under the guidance of mentors.

Interns will learn about Koch Industries and gain professional development. We seek students enrolled in a 4-year Chemical Engineering program who can work full-time during or before Summer 2028

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a 4-year degree program majoring in Chemical Engineering
• Eligible for full-time employment during or before Summer 2028
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Gain real-world, hands-on experience on significant projects, solving problems and taking ownership of work
• Participate in mentorship and weekly learning sessions, with location-specific programming
• Complete a 12-week in-person internship at the Pine Bend Refinery in Rosemount, MN and learn about Koch Industries and our people
