Job summary

Flint Hills Resources (FHR), a Koch company, invites you to join our 12-week Environmental Intern program at the Rosemount refinery in Minnesota. As an Environmental Intern, you will work on real projects, learn about environmental regulations and permitting, and gain hands-on experience in data analysis and monitoring within a safety-focused team.

Enrollment in a 4-year degree program in Environmental Engineering, Science, Chemical Engineering or related field is required.

Qualifications

Enrolled in a 4 year degree program majoring in Environmental Engineering or Science, Chemical Engineering or other related science, engineering, or environmental field.
Eligible for full-time employment during or before Summer 2028.
Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Collaborate on real-life projects and challenges related to environmental intern work.
Learn about environmental regulations and permitting requirements and apply to projects.
Engage in monitoring, sampling, data analysis and data management activities.
