Flint Hills Resources is offering a Summer 2027 Mechanical Engineering Internship at the Rosemount, MN refinery. The program provides real‑world experience on rotating equipment, reliability improvements, and project management while mentors help you grow professionally.

Interns complete individual projects, participate in weekly learning sessions, and gain exposure to Koch Industries’ culture. This 12‑week in‑person program is designed to build practical skills for a career in engineering.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a 4 year degree program majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
• Eligible for full‑time employment during or before Summer 2028.
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Gain real‑world, hands‑on experience on significant projects.
• Tackle challenging engineering problems and learn rotating equipment, reliability and performance.
• Participate in weekly learning sessions and location‑specific programming during the 12‑week program.
