Job summary

Flint Hills Resources in Minnesota invites Summer 2027 Electrical Engineering Interns to join our Rosemount refinery. The 12-week, in-person program provides hands-on exposure to high and low voltage equipment, instrumentation, transmitters, and control loops while focusing on reliability and troubleshooting.

You will work on real projects with mentors, gain exposure to Koch Industries and our safety culture, and build a professional network within our refinery team.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a 4-year Electrical Engineering degree.
• Eligible for full-time employment during or before Summer 2028.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist with real-world electrical engineering projects at the refinery.
• Learn about high- and low-voltage equipment and instrumentation (transmitters, control valves, control loops).
• Receive mentorship and contribute to 12-week in-person internship program.
