Flint Hills Resources in Rosemount, MN is seeking Environmental Engineering Interns for our Summer 2026 internship program. Interns will engage in real-world projects, learn about environmental regulations, permitting, monitoring, sampling, and data management, all under mentorship during a 12-week in-person experience at our refinery.

Qualifications

Enrolled in a 4 year degree program majoring in Environmental Engineering or Science, Chemical Engineering or other related science, engineering, or environmental field
Eligible for full-time employment on or before Summer 2027
Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

Assist in environmental regulations analysis and permitting tasks.
Support monitoring and sampling processes and data management.
Contribute to real-life projects under mentorship during a 12-week program
