Job summary

Flint Hills Resources (FHR), a Koch company, is hiring Summer 2027 Electrical Engineering Interns for our Rosemount, MN refinery. The 12-week, in-person internship offers hands-on experience with high and low voltage equipment, transmitters, control valves, and control loops, with mentors guiding you through real projects.

You will gain exposure to Koch Industries and our leadership principles while developing technical and professional skills, with a focus on safety and reliability in energy

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a 4 year degree program majoring in Electrical Engineering.
• Eligible for full‑time employment during or before Summer 2028.
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Gain real-world, hands-on experience on high and low voltage electrical equipment and instrumentation focusing on reliability, performance and troubleshooting.
• Receive mentorship and complete individual projects during the 12‑week program at the Rosemount refinery.
