Job summary

Sunrise FS in Illinois is seeking a candidate to run the chemical bay, ensuring product availability and equipment is maintained for operators. The role involves blending chemicals, inventory control, seed treatment support, and recording application loads.

As part of day-to-day duties, you will prepare equipment for blending and delivery, repair machinery as needed, and maintain housekeeping in the warehouse.

Qualifications

• CDL license required.
• Must hold a commercial applicator license or obtain one.
• Basic math skills including units, rates, and percentages.
• Proven professional communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to lift at least 70 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Blend chemicals according to rates and procedures.
• Perform inventory control and stock management.
• Assist Location Manager with seed treatment operations, warehousing, inventory and logistics.
• Record and track application loads sent to operators.
• Prepare material handling, blending, and storage equipment for delivery.
• Repair and rebuild equipment as needed; edit blend tickets.
