Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Batch Mixer for an on-site role in Alsip, IL. The position focuses on safe formulation and precise batching, starting with labor tasks and progressing to full batch mixing with supervision.

Experience in chemical/pharmaceutical settings is preferred, and familiarity with batch sheets and SOPs is essential. Typically working with batches up to 4,000 gallons, you will operate mixers, pumps, and reactors, ensure accurate records, and support production, packaging, and shift

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
• 3+ years in blending, formulating, chemical operating, or batch mixing.
• Experience in chemical or pharmaceutical environments preferred.
• Read and follow batch sheets and SOPs accurately.
• Detailed batch records and safe handling of materials.

Responsibilities

• Attend daily safety meetings and follow procedures.
• Review batch sheets to understand formulation requirements and priorities.
• Formulate chemicals per batch specifications with accuracy.
• Weigh raw materials precisely using appropriate equipment.
• Maintain detailed batch records and perform handoffs to next shift.
• Monitor and adjust equipment to stay within parameter ranges.
• Assist with packaging, staging, and order preparation as needed.
