Job summary

Jim 'N Nick's in Cordova, TN seeks a Chef to oversee dining room and kitchen operations and to run effective shifts. You will direct, coach, train and develop staff including food quality, service standards, safety and sanitation, and company policies and procedures.

You will manage BOH budgets, forecast needs, hire staff, and ensure guest satisfaction with consistent standards and a great dining experience.

Qualifications

• Exceptional leadership and motivational skills required.
• Three to five years of high-volume full-service restaurant management experience preferred.
• Ability to attract, train, develop and retain the very best team members.
• Strong guest service focus with the ability to provide an exceptional dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of all dining room and kitchen systems and operation; run effective shifts.
• Direct, coach, train and develop staff including food quality, service standards, safety and sanitation.
• Ensure consistent execution of all systems, standards and cost controls.
• Establish and communicate goals to General Manager and Local Owner regularly.
• Communicate effectively with guests, team, management, local owner, and vendors.
• Maintain cleanliness and sufficient supply levels; oversee BOH schedules and budgets.
