Job summary

The role requires mentoring staff, maintaining recipes and production sheets, and overseeing budgets, inventory, and payroll-related tasks in a busy campus kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in food service or related field.
• Two years progressively responsible experience managing a similar food service operation.
• Experience in a high volume food service establishment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train unit employees including students, unions, and student managers.
• Ensure high quality food production, menu execution, and cost efficiency.
• Conduct line checks, safety training, and staff coaching to follow recipes.
• Maintain recipes, production sheets, and unit checklists.
• Manage customer service programs and resolve customer complaints.
• Oversee budgeting, purchasing programs, and inventory control.
