Compass Group USA is seeking a Chef Manager for our growing business to lead both culinary and food service operations. You will oversee menu development, inventory management, purchasing, and cost controls while prioritizing local sourcing and sustainable practices.

As a Chef Manager, you will be accountable for P&L performance and contract-managed service, collaborating with site teams to deliver high-quality service across diverse client spaces.

Qualifications

• Three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice or fine dining.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety practices.
• Experience with inventory, purchasing, and cost controls to manage foodservice operations.
• Experience with contract-managed service and P&L accountability.

Responsibilities

• Full culinary management of food service operation including inventory, ordering and receiving.
• Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable.
• Proficient in menu development, cost controls, purchasing and inventory with a focus on sourcing and utilizing local food products.
• Possesses a passion for sustainability.
