Job summary

Maschio's Food Services, Inc. in Morris County, NJ seeks a Chef/Director for the school food service program. Monday–Friday, full-time day shift, 7–8 hours per day, serving students with high-quality meals.

The ideal candidate combines culinary excellence with management experience, ensures safety with PPE, and coordinates catering events, staff, and daily reporting to the Area Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Strong culinary experience required.
• Prior food service management experience ideal.
• Prepare all catering events for school; some travel may be involved.

• ServSafe Manager Certificate.

Job description

Chef/ Director needed for School food service program in the Morris County, NJ area. Monday through Friday, full-time day shift, 7 to 8 hours daily.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and is creative with both presentation and new menu ideas within the guidelines of the NSLP. Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Must obtain proper documentation to work in schools. Willing to work an occasional catering on a weeknight and weekend.
