Maschio's Food Service Inc. is seeking a Chef/Director for a school food service program in Morris County, NJ. The role is full-time, with a day shift, Monday to Friday, and occasional catering on weeknights or weekends.

• Utilize PPE as required and lift up to 50 lbs.

Job description

Chef/ Director needed for School food service program in the Morris County, NJ area. Monday through Friday, full-time day shift, 7 to 8 hours daily.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and is creative with both presentation and new menu ideas within the guidelines of the NSLP. Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Must obtain proper documentation to work in schools. Willing to work an occasional catering on a weeknight and weekend.

• Strong culinary experience is required.
• Prior food service management experience is ideal.

• Proficient in using various forms of technology, namely Google and Microsoft products and point of sale systems.

• This is a client facing role so candidate should be personable and comfortable with regular client interactions.
