Job summary

Vicar's Landing in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL is seeking a Chef de Partie to oversee a kitchen station, ensuring the highest quality and presentation for residents and guests in a full-time onsite role.

You will collaborate with the Executive and Sous Chefs to meet dietary needs, manage prep and inventory, and uphold strict food safety standards while delivering exceptional dining experiences for our senior living community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary education preferred.
• Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation and health regulations.
• Understanding dietary restrictions and nutritional needs, especially for older adults.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present meals per recipes, guidelines, and resident preferences.
• Manage a designated kitchen station and ensure quality, presentation, and portions.
• Collaborate with Executive Chef and Sous Chef to accommodate special dietary needs.
• Complete daily food preparation and station setup for efficient operations.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, dating, and rotation per safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen meeting HACCP and health dept requirements.
