Job summary

Vicar's Landing in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, is seeking a Chef de Partie to lead a specific kitchen station and ensure exceptional quality, presentation, and consistency for residents and guests. Work closely with executive leadership to meet dietary needs while maintaining a high standard of dining excellence.

You will manage station operations, assist in training staff, and uphold food safety and sanitation guidelines in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Culinary education or related certifications are preferred but not required.
• Proven experience in a professional kitchen and ability to work under HACCP standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present high-quality meals following recipes, dietary guidelines, and resident preferences.
• Manage a designated kitchen station ensuring quality, presentation, and portion standards.
• Collaborate with Executive and Sous Chefs to meet special dietary needs, including allergies and restrictions.
• Complete daily food preparation and station setup to support efficient kitchen operations.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, dating, and rotation of food according to safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment following health department rules.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and inventorying food and supplies.
• Support training and mentoring of new culinary team members.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and workplace procedures while upholding kitchen standards.
• Perform additional duties to support culinary and dining operations.
