Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts, owner of AC Hotel & Element Phoenix Norterra, seeks a dynamic Chef de Cuisine / Kitchen Manager to lead culinary operations across the dual-branded Marriott property. This role drives breakfast and event service, develops seasonal menus, and maintains high food quality and portion control.

The ideal candidate has hotel F&B experience, strong leadership, and a track record of delivering exceptional guest experiences in high-volume settings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of progressive culinary leadership experience.
• Experience as Chef de Cuisine, Executive Sous Chef, Kitchen Manager, or similar role.
• Strong banquet and catering experience required.
• Experience managing food and labor costs.
• Food Manager Certification or ability to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily kitchen operations for breakfast, dinner, catering, and events.
• Develop and execute seasonal menus and banquet offerings.
• Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and portion control.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen.
• Oversee banquet and catering event production and staffing.
• Recruit, train, and develop culinary team; manage labor costs.
