Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking a dynamic Chef de Cuisine / Kitchen Manager to lead culinary operations for the dual-branded Marriott property AC Hotel & Element Phoenix Norterra. You will oversee daily kitchen activities, menu development, banquet production, and guest service quality.

The ideal candidate has strong banquet and catering experience, a proven ability to coach teams, and a track record of managing food and labor costs in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of progressive culinary leadership experience.
• Experience as Chef de Cuisine, Executive Sous Chef, Kitchen Manager, or similar role.
• Strong banquet and catering experience required.
• Experience managing food and labor costs.
• Ability to lead, train, and motivate culinary teams.
• Food Manager Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Lead all daily kitchen operations for breakfast, dinner, and events.
• Develop and execute seasonal menus and banquet offerings.
• Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and portion control.
• Maintain a clean and efficient kitchen environment.
• Oversee banquet, catering, and group event production.
• Collaborate with Sales and Operations to ensure successful events.
• Recruit, train, and develop culinary staff; manage labor costs.
• Monitor purchasing, inventory, and storage procedures; reduce waste.
