Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking Banquets Housepersons for the AC Element Phoenix Norterra Marriott-Bonvoy property in Phoenix, AZ. You will help prepare meeting spaces for events, set up rooms according to guest specifications, and maintain cleanliness and readiness throughout shifts.

The role emphasizes teamwork, physical activity, and a strong guest-service orientation in a fast-paced hotel environment. Crescent offers competitive wages and benefits for eligible associates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in an event space handling set-up, break-down, turning and servicing of rooms.
• Ability to read diagrams and Banquet Event Orders.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Positive attitude towards providing exceptional guest service.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with supervisor throughout shift to be aware of the work.
• Set up meeting rooms per guest specifications, including transporting heavy materials.
• Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and fresh water.
• Break down meeting rooms after meetings and return to storage.
• Maintain the cleaning schedule of meeting rooms and ballrooms.
