Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking a part-time Banquets Houseperson for the AC Element Phoenix Norterra, a Marriott-Bonvoy property. You will set up and break down meeting spaces, stock beverages, and maintain room cleanliness for events.

Requires at least 1 year of event space setup experience, strong communication, and the ability to read Banquet Event Orders. A team-oriented, guest-focused attitude is essential in a fast-paced hotel banquet environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of event space setup experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to read diagrams and Banquet Event Orders.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Positive attitude toward guest service.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with supervisor throughout shift to stay aware of work.
• Set up all meeting rooms to guest specifications, including moving heavy items.
• Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and fresh water.
• Break down meeting rooms after meetings and return to storage for next function.
• Maintain cleaning schedule for meeting rooms and ballrooms to keep them presentable.
