Job summary

Cardigan Ridge, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is seeking a Culinary Director to join our growing team in Little Canada, MN. You will oversee meal preparation, ensure adherence to prescribed diets, and uphold strict safety and sanitation standards for all residents.

As a leader in our kitchen, you will train and coordinate staff, manage menus with resident preferences, and support the Lifespark mission to help seniors Age Magnificently. Wage is $21/hour with shift-based hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.
• Must relate professionally with residents and families.
• Advanced computer skills including email.
• Strong leadership and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food according to planned menus and diet guidelines.
• Direct and assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas and equipment.
• Check trays for menu, diet requirements, and accuracy.
• Ensure proper storage for food and supplies.
• Review diet changes and ensure menus are followed.

Cardigan Ridge, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is looking for a Culinary Director to join our growing team!

At Cardigan Ridge Senior Living, we're redefining senior living in Little Canada, MN. We help seniors Age Magnificently in our gorgeous, apartment style community providing Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care services. Join our team today!

Shifts Available:

Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays (2pm-6pm)/Monday-Thursday 7 am-1 pm
Every Other Weekend (9 am-6 pm)
Wage: $21/hour

In this position, you will be responsible for preparing food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, facility procedures, and dietary and sanitary regulations. Duties include:

• Prepare and serve food and meals in accordance with planned menus, diet plans, recipes, portions, and temperature control procedures.
• Direct and assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment and floors, dishes, and utensils.
• Check all trays for menu and diet requirements and preference and accuracy.
• Ensure proper storage for food and supplies.
• Review and process diet changes and ensure menus are maintained and followed in accordance with established procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.
• Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’s families, and employees.
• Must possess advanced computer skills, including email use.
• Annual reviews with wage increases
