Job summary

Cardinal View Senior Living, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, in Middleton, Wisconsin, is seeking a part-time Chef/Cook to join our growing team. The role involves preparing meals that meet prescribed diets and following sanitation regulations. Shifts are 6:00am-2:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays.

Wage ranges from $17.50 to $22.50 per hour based on experience. Our team focuses on enriching the lives of residents and supporting Age Magnificently.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Advanced computer skills including email use.
• Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food according to planned menus, diets, recipes, portions, and temperature controls.
• Direct and assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment, floors, and dishes.
• Check all trays for menu, diet requirements, preferences, and accuracy.
• Ensure proper storage for food and supplies.
• Review and process diet changes and ensure menus are followed per procedures.

Cardinal View Senior Living, a Lifespark Senior Living Community is looking for a Chef/Cook to join our growing team.
Cardinal View Senior Living recently opened in fall of 2021 and is easily accessible, right off the Beltline in Middleton, WI. We help seniors Age Magnificently in our gorgeous 104-unit, apartment style community providing Assisted Living, Independent Living and Memory Care services. Cardinal View was named to honor the Middleton Area High School Cardinals and is proud to be locally owned!
Shifts Available: Part Time ams (6:00am-2:30pm), including rotating weekends and holidays
Wage: $17.50-$22.50 an hour wage is based on experience

In this position,you will beresponsible for preparing food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, facility procedures, and dietary and sanitary regulations. Duties include:

• Prepare and serve food and meals in accordance with planned menus, diet plans, recipes, portions, and temperature control procedures.
• Direct and assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment and floors, dishes, and utensils.
• Check all trays for menu and diet requirements and preference and accuracy.
• Ensure proper storage for food and supplies.
• Review and process diet changes and ensure menus are maintained and followed in accordance with established procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.
• Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’s families, and employees.
• Must possess advanced computer skills, including email use.
