The Opportunity

About

Join our team at Glanbia as a Warehouse Team Leader and play a crucial role in ensuring our warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently. This permanent, full-time position reports to the Warehouse Manager and is fully onsite. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing daily warehouse operations for efficiency and compliance.
• Coordinating product movement with logistics, QA, production, and other warehouses; communicating effectively with sales, customer service, and management.
• Providing training to staff, assisting in hiring, and overseeing onboarding.
• Conducting safety and quality meetings bi-weekly to ensure audit readiness and GMP standards compliance.
• Troubleshooting equipment issues, resolving inventory discrepancies, and identifying root causes.
• Performing performance management tasks, including biannual PDPs and handling disciplinary matters.

Skills

The Skills you will bring to the team

• Education & Experience: Associate’s Degree or equivalent, or at least one year related experience.
• Technical Skills: Forklift operation, SAP proficiency, troubleshooting warehouse equipment.
• Leadership & Communication: Report writing, effective presentation, leading by example.
• Regulatory Knowledge: OSHA, USDA, HACCP standards.
• Problem-Solving: Analytical skills to handle multiple projects and resolve practical issues.
• Physical & Environmental Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, manual dexterity, and stamina; exposure to noise, heat, humidity, and moving parts.
