Job summary

The Sartori Company is seeking a Table Operator for its Antigo, WI facility. This role operates the drain table and fines saver during the cheese-making process, monitors curd pH and moisture, and transfers curd to the hoop filling machine.

It requires 2nd shift, a 12-hour rotating 2/2/3 schedule, and adherence to HACCP and GMP policies. Responsibilities include data entry, equipment checks, cleaning, and reporting maintenance issues while maintaining safe, efficient operations in a food

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2-3 years of experience in food manufacturing desirable.
• Ability to read, write and follow simple instructions and safety rules.
• Knowledge of automated equipment interfaces helps performance.
• Good communication, computer and mechanical skills are needed.
• Ability to interpret charts and perform basic math for measurements.

Responsibilities

• Operate the drain table and fines saver during cheese making.
• Monitor curd pH and moisture, and transfer curd to hoop filling machine.
• Conduct pre-operational inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Follow HACCP, GMP policies and safety procedures.
• Enter data into the data collection computer and ensure accuracy.
• Support with cleaning and sanitizing tasks on the table area.
