Job summary

Sartori Company is seeking a Food Sanitation Operator in Antigo, Wisconsin. This entry-level role focuses on cleaning and sanitizing cheesemaking equipment and facilities, with a clear path to growth into other team roles.

The position runs 4pm to 4am on a 2/2/3 rotation and emphasizes safety, GMPs, and formal training opportunities. You will work with the sanitation team to maintain equipment like drain tables, CIP systems, and production areas, documenting processes and ensuring food safety

Qualifications

• 18 years old, required.
• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Food manufacturing or food plant sanitation experience desirable.
• Knowledge of Panel View interface and CIP systems.
• Knowledge of food manufacturing equipment.
• Good computer skills with Microsoft Office and manufacturing OS.
• Basic math, including unit weights and counts.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and charts.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Cleans all related cheesemaking equipment and facilities per master sanitation schedule.
• Operates CIP system to clean equipment, including drain tables and towers.
• Manually cleans walls, floors, presses, conveyors and drain table augers.
• Uses COP tanks to clean production hoops, lids and pallets.
• Documents cleaning information in work sheets and sanitation schedules.
• Titrates chemicals to proper concentration and tests dispensing equipment.
• Fills and replaces chemical drums and barrels throughout the plant.
• Anticipates needs, organizes duties, troubleshoots, and problem solves.
• Complies with Safety and GMP policies; reports food safety or quality issues.
