Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-3 years of experience in food manufacturing desirable.
• Knowledge of automated equipment interfaces and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Operates whey separator to produce whey cream from raw whey.
• Controls RO/polisher to make concentrated whey; adjusts flow, pressure and temperature; directs products to storage silos.
• Records production data on log sheets and tests finished product.
• Loads concentrated whey into tanker trucks and ensures sanitation of equipment.
• Tests outgoing loads and maintains required documentation.
• Ensures USDA compliance with WPC procedures and safe chemical handling.
• Washes RO system, whey heat treat and polish water system; trains new team members.
