Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Create an environment where customers feel welcome and valued by answering questions about cheese and store products.
• Know products in the department and suggest items to customers.
• Offer product samples to help customers discover new items.
• Inform customers of cheese specials and promotions.
• Coach and train associates to perform duties effectively and safely.
• Ensure fresh products are available and properly portioned to minimize shrink.
• Check product quality, review sell-by dates, and take appropriate action.
• Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise appropriately.
• Report ordering or shipping discrepancies to the department manager.
• Maintain a positive attitude and knowledge of store layout for customer assistance.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper temperature logs.
