The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to safety policies, accurate labeling, and documentation of quality checks. Candidates should be able to lift up to 40 pounds, work overtime as needed, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, perform basic math, and follow safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor cheese-making machinery to maintain smooth production.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet production targets and maintain workflow.
• Load/unload raw materials and cheese using equipment like hoists or conveyors.
• Move products safely using pallet jacks and other handling equipment.
• Ensure materials are ready for production and lines run without interruption.
• Conduct quality checks and document results to meet specs and standards.
• Label products accurately and follow Affinage guidelines.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas per procedures.
• Follow ERU food safety policies and government sanitation regulations (FDA, HACCP, GMP, OSHA).
• Attend safety and department meetings and complete required training.
