Job summary

Emmi Roth seeks a Packaging Team Member to support cheese production in a food manufacturing setting. You will load materials, operate packaging equipment, perform quality checks, and help maintain sanitation and safety standards across the plant.

In this role you will work closely with fellow production associates to ensure smooth workflow, accurate labeling, and timely packaging of finished cheeses. Physical stamina and the ability to work overtime are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating packaging machinery is preferred but not required.
• Ability to safely operate electric pallet jacks.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
• Detail-oriented with quality focus.
• Physical stamina for lifting and standing.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willing to work overtime or extended shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment to support production.
• Collaborate with production team to meet targets.
• Load packaging and raw materials into equipment.
• Move products and materials safely within the facility.
• Ensure ingredients and materials are ready for production.
• Monitor production lines and document quality checks.
• Inspect products for defects before packaging.
• Package finished cheese and label per guidelines.
• Clean and maintain equipment and work areas.
• Assist in inventory of materials and report shortages.
• Assist with equipment setup and changeovers.
• Follow ERU food safety policies and regulations.
• Observe safety guidelines and use PPE.
• Attend safety and department meetings.
• Identify and report safety hazards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
