Emmi Roth is seeking a Packaging Machine Operator to support our cheese production line in Wisconsin. The role involves setting up, operating, and sanitizing packaging equipment, ensuring accurate weights, seals and labels, and coordinating with team members to meet production schedules.

The ideal candidate has experience with packaging machinery, can read work instructions, and maintain safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating packaging machinery preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
• Lifts heavy objects and stands for extended periods.
• Willingness to work overtime or extended shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor packaging machinery, including filling, sealing, labeling, and wrapping.
• Perform setup, changeovers, and routine maintenance to ensure production.
• Monitor packaging quality, weights, seals, labels, and appearance.
• Calibrate and adjust equipment for efficiency and production goals.
• Document production data and any deviations, and report issues promptly.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of equipment and work areas.
• Adhere to safety SOPs and use PPE as required.
• Assist with general labor tasks and material handling within the facility.
