Leprino Foods in Allendale, MI is seeking a Production Supervisor (Cheese) to lead the Cheese Department, schedule staffing, mentor the team, and uphold food safety and quality standards.

The role requires a bachelor’s in Food Science or Dairy Technology (or equivalent experience), 5+ years in food manufacturing with at least 1 year of supervisory experience, and familiarity with SAP or similar systems. Weekend/on-call shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Food Science, Dairy Technology or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years in food manufacturing with at least 1 year of supervision or mentoring experience.
• Experience with processing or packaging systems and equipment troubleshooting.
• Strong computer proficiency; familiarity with SAP or equivalent systems.
• Ability to work weekends, swing, and overnight shifts.

Responsabilités

• Lead and support a team of hourly employees in the Cheese Department to ensure product quality, safety, and efficient production each shift.
• Plan and schedule daily staffing to meet production goals while maintaining a safe, collaborative work environment.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members through training and feedback.
• Communicate clearly to reinforce trust and teamwork and recognize performance.
• Oversee daily shift operations to meet productivity, yield, and quality standards.
