Job summary

Leprino Foods Company is seeking a Production Supervisor (Cheese) at our Allendale facility to lead the Cheese Department and drive safe, high‑quality production across shifts.

You will plan staffing, mentor team members, and collaborate with maintenance and quality to ensure efficient operations. A bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required, with 5+ years in food manufacturing and SAP literacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Dairy Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years in food manufacturing with at least 1 year leading or mentoring others.
• Strong computer proficiency; knowledge of SAP or similar manufacturing software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of hourly employees in the Cheese Department, ensuring product quality, safety, and productivity.
• Plan and schedule daily staffing to meet production goals and maintain a safe, collaborative environment.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members through coaching, feedback and ongoing training.
• Build a culture of trust and teamwork with clear communication and recognition of performance.
• Oversee daily shift operations to meet standards for productivity, yield and quality.
