Lactalis American Group, a leader in dairy, is hiring a Cooker Operator III based in Nampa, Idaho. The role focuses on blending product back into the cheese making process while ensuring quality standards are met and maintaining smooth equipment flow.

The position requires basic math skills, ability to lift up to 100 lb, and standing for long shifts, with opportunities for growth and advancement within a global dairy leader.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/General Education Degree preferred.
• Previous Food Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic Math skills required to calculate averages.
• Must be able to lift 50 lb and up to 100 lb.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift, with bending and reaching.

Responsibilities

• Meet efficiency budgets while maintaining high quality product.
• Unload racks of cheese and feed onto conveyors or input lines.
• Stack empty racks for retrieval.
• Complete CCP and line operation paperwork accurately.
• Perform sanitation duties and keep the work area clean.
• Take corrective action for any product not meeting quality specs.
• Contribute to process improvements and performance.
• Participate in audits and maintain ISO22000/ISO9001/HACCP compliance.
• Attend department meetings and trainings.
