Job summary

Lactalis American Group is seeking a Vat Operator IV in Nampa, ID, to join our cheese production team. You will handle raw milk silos, HTST processing, and vat operations, ensuring adherence to specifications and safe, efficient operation.

You will start up and shut down lines, perform CIP, monitor quality through sampling and lab checks, and train teammates while maintaining accurate records and clean workspaces.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills; calculate averages, fractions, decimals, rates, ratios.
• Ability to draw and interpret graphs and charts.
• Strong problem solving skills and analytical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lines and cream addition equipment for cheese making.
• Operate pasteurizer with proper startup, shutdown, and cleaning procedures.
• Sample and analyze milk/cheese process including pH and titratable acidity.
