Job summary

Saputo is hiring a Production Attendant to package cheese per customer specs, maintain GMP/QA standards, and keep accurate production records. The role requires line rotation, safety adherence, and a proactive approach to quality and efficiency in a fast-paced facility.

Applicants should be able to lift up to 40 pounds, work overtime, and collaborate with a team to meet production targets while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend production worksheets.
• Able to lift 20–40 pounds repeatedly and work on a fast-moving line.
• Commitment to food safety and quality standards.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and punctual with good math skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with GMP, SOP, HACCP, SSOP, and H&S policies.
• Package cheese accurately according to customer specs and production sheets.
• Set up packaging line equipment and date code printers.
• Record data on production reports and ensure proper labeling.
• Rotate through line positions and participate in safety meetings.
• Keep work area clean and maintain equipment sanitation.
