Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking a general assembly worker for packaging cheese products in Wisconsin. Responsibilities include applying cheese and ingredients, bagging, labeling, palletizing, restocking materials, and maintaining production flow.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, basic instruction-reading ability, strong sanitation practices, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Regular attendance and safety are required.

Responsibilities

• Manually apply cheese and ingredients to the production line.
• Perform manual packaging tasks (bagging, wrapping, labeling, boxing, palletizing).
• Restock packaging materials into machines (boxes, tape, glue, film).
• Monitor production flow and remove bad product as needed.
• Ensure documentation complies with policies and procedures.
• Conduct inspections/tests to ensure product quality and document results.
• Set up, adjust, and perform general maintenance on production equipment.
• Report noncompliance of production issues to leadership.
• Validate ingredients and materials used in production.
• Complete paperwork and inventory system transactions timely and accurately.
• Handle and use cleaning chemicals; sanitation duties.
• Other duties as assigned.
