Job summary

Emmi Roth is seeking a Packaging Machine Operator at our Wisconsin facility to manage packaging equipment, perform setup and sanitation, and handle general labor tasks in a fast-paced production environment.

You will work with quality control and production staff to ensure products meet specifications, while adhering to safety protocols and food-safety standards. Travel to sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating packaging machinery in a manufacturing or food processing environment is preferred.
• Ability to operate electric pallet jacks safely.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
• Physical stamina to lift up to 60 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor packaging machinery, including filling, sealing, labeling, and wrapping; ensure proper setup and adjustments.
• Perform routine machine setup, changeovers, and maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Monitor packaging quality, weights, seals, labels, and appearance of products.
• Document production data and any issues; communicate with supervisors and quality control.
