Emmi Roth is seeking a Packaging Team Member to support production of premium cheeses. You will operate packaging equipment, move materials, perform quality checks, and assist with sanitation and labeling.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working as part of a collaborative team. Ideal candidates will have basic experience with packaging machinery and the ability to read instructions; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating packaging machinery in a manufacturing or food environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to safely operate electric pallet jacks and handle materials.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic for packaging counts and weights.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work overtime or extended shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Load packaging materials into packaging equipment and assist in production.
• Move materials within the facility and ensure smooth workflow to meet production targets.
• Perform quality checks and document results.
• Inspect products for defects before packaging and distribution.
• Assist in labeling and packaging finished cheese products.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow sanitation procedures.
• Support inventory management and report shortages or discrepancies.
• Assist with equipment setup, changeovers, and maintenance as needed.
