Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA, Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a Production Attendant to support the cheese packaging line. You will prepare packaging according to customer specs, maintain records, and ensure GMP, safety and quality standards are met.

You may rotate through positions, perform data entry on production reports, and participate in safety meetings. The role requires the ability to lift up to 40 lbs, stand for long periods, and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Can lift between 20 and 40 pounds
• Able to stand and walk on concrete surfaces for long periods
• Willing to work scheduled hours and overtime as needed
• Demonstrates reliability, honesty, respect, and punctuality
• Basic math skills for unit conversions and measurements
• Can read and comprehend production worksheets

Responsibilities

• Package cheese according to customer specifications and GMP/SOP/HACCP requirements
• Maintain accurate production records and enter data on reports
• Rotate through all positions on the packaging line
• Perform quality checks to ensure correct price/date/label/packaging
• Communicate out-of-spec conditions and follow notification procedures
• Keep work area clean and organized and participate in safety meetings
