Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking a Production Attendant to prepare packaging in accordance with customer specifications and GMP policies. The role emphasizes maintaining records, safety compliance, and efficient cheese packaging operations.

The position requires the ability to read production worksheets, rotate through line positions, and perform data entry on production reports while upholding a clean, safe work area and active participation in safety meetings.

Qualifications

• Must be able to push, pull and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, stooping, pushing and maneuvering around equipment.
• Stand or walk on concrete surface for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Package cheese according to customer specifications.
• Maintain compliance with GMP, SOP, HACCP, SSOP and H&S policies.
• Set up packaging process including machinery, printers, and labels.
• Identify and communicate out-of-spec product conditions and follow notification protocol.
• Read and interpret production worksheets; enter data on production reports.
• Rotate into all positions on the line and keep area neat and organized.
