Job summary

Saputo is seeking workers for general assembly tasks in our cheese packaging operation in Wisconsin. The role involves manual handling of cheese wheels, bagging, and conveying through the line, with a focus on accuracy and quality.

We expect basic education (GED or high school), the ability to follow instructions, and strict sanitation practices. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and rotate through line positions daily.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand instructions.
• Maintain good sanitation and housekeeping practices.
• Comply with all quality system and regulatory requirements.
• Must be able to work in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Manually remove up to 26 lb wheels of cheese from racks and place them on the table.
• Bag wheels of cheese, and transition them to the next conveyor.
• Monitor cheese on going down the belt ensuring continuous movement through the line.
• Monitor the cryovac machine while in operation, lay bagged cheese on plates while keeping bags flat over the heat seal bars.
