Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking a production worker to support cheese packaging operations in a fast-paced environment. You will perform tasks on the packaging line, including un-racking, bagging, cryovac, palletizing, and line maintenance, with emphasis on quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities include handling cheese wheels, monitoring line movement, operating equipment, and maintaining clean, safe work areas. Regular attendance and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent) preferred.
• Ability to read and understand instructions.
• Maintain sanitation and housekeeping practices.

Responsibilities

• Manually remove up to 26 lb wheels of cheese from racks and place them on the table.
• Bag wheels of cheese and move them to the next conveyor.
• Monitor cheese on the line for continuous movement.
• Operate the cryovac machine and handle bagged cheese on plates.
• Stack sealed wheels on pallets following production templates.
• Wash racks and slats to keep production on schedule.
• Clean and sanitize production equipment.
• Return rejected packages for resealing and rework.
• Verify pallet, box, tag, barcode, and tally sheet accuracy.
