Job summary

Murray’s Cheese Shop at Harris Teeter Clemson is seeking a store leader to deliver a unique cheese experience. You will train staff, manage inventory and run in-store events that showcase the product, while maintaining safety, cleanliness and policy compliance.

You will drive sales through expert knowledge, proactive selling and engaging service, with a focus on cross-department cooperation and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
• Willingness to lead and train staff in Murray’s operations.
• Ability to discuss cheese knowledge and customer service with guests.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain the Murray’s Cheese experience with interactive service and education.
• Lead, train and supervise staff; ensure compliance with policies and safety.
• Set up weekly in-store events, tastings, dinners and cross-department activities.
• Manage inventory, orders, labeling and shrink; control labor costs.
• Provide exceptional product knowledge to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain sanitation, HACCP and health procedures in all duties.
