Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic with American money and weights.

Responsibilities

• Create an environment where customers feel welcome and valued by answering questions about products.
• Maintain knowledge of department products and respond to questions or suggest items.
• Inform customers of specials and monitor store inventory and product freshness.
