Job summary

King Soopers in Louisville, CO is seeking a friendly deli/bakery customer service associate to create outstanding experiences for customers in a fast-paced environment. You will assist the department manager in meeting sales goals, maintain a safe and clean area, and help ensure quality and food safety standards are followed.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, offering samples, stocking products, labeling merchandise, and staying informed about promotions.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction) and ability to handle stressful situations.
• High school education or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Gain and maintain knowledge of products sold within the department and respond to questions and make suggestions about products.
• Offer product samples to help customers discover new items or products they inquire about.
• Inform customers of Cheese Shop specials.
• Provide customers with fresh products in correct portion size to prevent shrink.
• Measure, prepare and mix ingredients according to recipe using kitchen utensils and equipment.
• Adequately prepare, package, label and inventory ingredients in merchandise.
