King Soopers is seeking dedicated associates to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced store environment. You will help maintain a safe, clean department, assist the manager in achieving sales goals, and answer questions about products to enhance the customer experience.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and adherence to safety standards, with opportunities for growth and benefits as part of the Kroger family. Previous retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Retail experience.

Responsabilités

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create an environment that makes customers feel welcome, important and appreciated by answering questions about products sold within the department and throughout the store.
• Gain and maintain knowledge of products sold within the department and respond to questions and make suggestions.
• Offer product samples to help customers discover new items or products they inquire about.
• Inform customers of dairy specials and provide fresh products they ordered.
• Recommend items to customers to ensure they get what they want and need.
• Check product quality to ensure freshness and monitor sell-by dates.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Report product ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager.
• Display a positive attitude and stay current with ads.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and ensure proper temperatures in cases and coolers.
