Responsibilities

• Grocery Clerk (Bakery/Deli) prepares items per customer requests using bakery equipment.
• Offer product samples to help customers discover items.
• Inform customers of bakery/deli specials.
• Provide customers with fresh products and correct portion sizes to prevent shrink.
• Recommend deli or bakery items to meet customer needs.
• Operate bakery equipment as per guidelines (refrigerators, ovens, slicers).
• Prepare foods according to temperature logs and cooking instructions.
• Measure, mix ingredients using kitchen utensils and equipment.
• Label and inventory ingredients; maintain product freshness and dates.
• Maintain store layout knowledge and assist customers in finding products.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and safety procedures.
