Job summary

King Soopers in Colorado is seeking a Bakery Associate to create an outstanding customer experience by providing friendly service, preparing bakery items, and keeping the department clean and organized.

You will assist the department manager in meeting sales and quality goals, respond to questions about products, stock and label merchandise, and follow safety and food-handling regulations.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle stressful situations and maintain composure.
• Clear and effective communication with customers and teammates.
• Knowledge of basic math for transactions and measurements.
• Current food handlers permit upon employment.

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates in the bakery area.
• Answer questions and help customers select bakery items.
• Prepare bakery items per customer requests using bakery equipment.
• Label, stock and inventory bakery merchandise.
• Follow safety and food-handling regulations, and temperature logs.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work environment.
