Job summary

Jetro Restaurant Depot is seeking a Cashier to efficiently manage all transactions at the front end. You will handle payments, issue receipts, and ensure accuracy across cash, check, and credit transactions while delivering strong customer service.

An ideal candidate has prior retail cashier experience, basic PC skills, and familiarity with cash registers and POS systems. Evening and weekend availability is a plus, with opportunities for flexible scheduling in a union environment.

Qualifications

• Work experience as a retail cashier or in a similar role in sales.
• Basic PC knowledge.
• Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS.
• Good math skills.
• Strong communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage transactions with customers using cash registers
• Scan goods and ensure pricing & product is accurate
• Collect payments whether in cash, check or credit
• Issue receipts and change as necessary
• Resolve customer complaints, guide them, and provide relevant information
