Job summary

Jetro Restaurant Depot is seeking a Cashier for the Front End to manage customer transactions and ensure accurate pricing. You should be comfortable with cash handling and providing friendly service, while maintaining efficient checkout operations.

The role requires availability for evening and weekend shifts, with duties across cash handling, scanning items, and resolving customer questions. Prior retail cashier experience is preferred and strong math and communication skills are a must.

Qualifications

• Work experience as a retail cashier or in a similar role in sales.
• Basic PC knowledge required.
• Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS.
• Good math skills are essential.
• Strong communication and time management skills are important.
• Customer satisfaction-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Manage transactions with customers using cash registers.
• Scan goods and ensure pricing & product is accurate.
• Collect payments whether in cash, check or credit.
• Issue receipts and change as necessary.
• Resolve customer complaints, guide them, and provide relevant information.
• Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas.
