Job summary

Jetro Restaurant Depot is seeking a cashier to handle front-end transactions and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. You will operate the cash register, ensure accurate pricing, and assist customers with questions while maintaining a friendly checkout area.

The role requires prior cashier or sales experience, basic computer skills, and strong math and communication abilities. Evening and weekend shifts may be required to support store operations.

Qualifications

• Work experience as a retail cashier or in a similar role in sales.
• Basic PC knowledge.
• Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS.
• Good math skills.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Customer satisfaction-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Manage transactions with customers using cash registers
• Scan goods and ensure pricing & product is accurate
• Collect payments whether in cash, check or credit
• Issue receipts and change as necessary
• Resolve customer complaints, guide them, and provide relevant information
• Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
